Jack Terry is the award–winning artist of The Great Trail Ride, A Cowboy’s Faith, and Prayers Along the Trail. From a young age, he has been immersed in the worlds of both cowboys and canvases. In addition to garnering many awards for his artwork, in 1976 Terry was named Texas’ Bicentennial artist, which led to a one–man exhibit, and a commission to paint the late President Lyndon B. Johnson for the Texas Bicentennial Calendar. Jack and his wife, Mary, live on a 100–acre ranch in Kerrville, Texas.

Multitalented artist and writer Jack Terry invites you to experience the American cowboy way of life. His inspirational stories and powerful images of the Old West depict the simple faith and attributes that lead you to contemplation and adventure in life’s wide open spaces.

World–renowned cowboy and western artist Jack Terry casts his artistic net into the abundant waters of Alaska. Join Jack as he takes readers on a fascinating exploration of its salmon–rich rivers. Motivated by a fishing expedition to the Last Frontier, see how God’s amazing handiwork had a powerful impact on this gifted writer and artist.

Inspirational stories from his personal perspective illustrate how we can live an abundant and rich life by appreciating all God has created. Accompanying the narrative is a collection of Terry’s picturesque, powerful, and award–winning paintings that capture the grace, beauty, and grandeur of Alaska.

A perfect addition to any library or as a coffee–table gift, this beautiful hardbound book will uplift, enlighten, and renew your spirit.

The solitude of the cowboy life gives way in the churches, missions, and courtyards of the American West where friends gather together in the comfort of peace, love, and hope. Drawing on a life of rich family heritage, Jack Terry illustrates the power of faith through personal stories of strength and unity. From the author who brought you The Great Trail Ride, friends and family who appreciate the rugged outdoors and a simple faith will appreciate the award–winning artist’s inspiring messages and exquisitely detailed paintings.

To the popular collection of artist Jack Terry’s cowboy gift books (more than 85,000 copies sold), comes a unique look at life in the West through the eyes of good ol’ cowboys including:

John Stetson: adversity lead him to create the symbol of the cowboy

Bill Picket: his invention of “bulldogging” changed the rodeo forever

Will Rogers: his wisdom and humor became the voice of an era

Charles Goodnight: he carried justice and honor with him along his famous trail

Bill Mason: his compassion and faith was his legacy to grandson Jack Terry

Cowboy enthusiasts and fans of Jack Terry’s art will discover tales of hope and courage to inspire their ride through the landscapes of their own lives.

As in his popular first two books, A Cowboy’s Faith and The Great Trail Ride, artist Jack Terry masterfully partners themes of faith and the cowboy life in this new roundup of paintings and writings focused on prayer.

In Prayers Along the Trail, the rich, rustic beauty of Terry’s oil paintings leads readers to the serenity of forest–covered hills, beside tranquil streams, and into the presence of God. Scripture verses, quotes, and Terry’s insightful reflections on prayer along this sacred trail will inspire other hearts to commune with the Lord.

For those who choose creation as a favorite place of worship, Prayers Along the Trail will make its way into their knapsack for many outings to come.
