Thirty years of spreading the word of the Lord through a little paper called "The Line Rider." When the fellowship was formed, we never dreamed we would be coming out with a cowboy monthly good news publication. In the beginning, the publication was called "The Circuit Rider" and was called that for probably ten years. Someone back east saw one of the Circuit Riders and got in touch with us. It seems the name "Circuit Rider" is a registered trade name. Davalynn Spencer was the editor at the time, and she and Mike Spencer, the FCC general manager at the time, decided to hold a contest to rename the newsletter. Duane Shipman, a staunch supporter and western historian for Denver, won the contest with the name "The Line Rider."
